Do you need some help finishing your army? Do you enjoy wargaming, but lack the time or skill to paint your models? I can help! I am now available for painting and modeling conversions! I am proud to provide a painting service that produces quality models at a reasonable price.
At the Thirteenth Company, I can build and/or paint your miniature wargame army from start to finish! Commissions of all sizes, from any game system, are accepted! All of my work is painted to the same standard as my personal minis, which you can find examples of in my gallery.
Here's an explanation of my process:
Complete Model Assembly:
Models or kits can be completely assembled. Simple kit-bashes or weapon swaps can be used (you must provide or purchase any bits not included in each kit). Model poses may be altered for a more dynamic look. Simple Green Stuff and Plastic may be done for some poses. Weapon barrels can be drilled upon request. More complex conversion work is available at additional cost.

Basing:
Basing can be completed with multiple “grits,” using bases provided with each kit. Additional details, such as grass or snow, can be used. You can purchase or provide decorative Resin bases, and if you provide or purchase the bits, I can add detailed rubble to the bases (buildings, fallen enemies, etc.).
Painting:
Models are spray-primed (black, white, or grey) before base colors are applied. Most painting is completed using an airbrush and oil-wash technique. Details like weathering, damage, blood, etc. can be added. Power weapons (and similar) can be uniquely painted as requested. Decals or simple free-hand markings can be applied. Upon completion of the painting, models are sprayed with Testor’s Dull Cote to protect the paint job. Any areas that would shine (eyes, lenses, wet blood, etc.) can be painted with a brush-on gloss afterward to restore a shine.

Please note: this price list is to be used as a guide only, final price will depend on the specifics of the actual project. I offer varying bulk discounts, depending on the order specifics. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, both ways.
You can provide the models to me, if you wish. Or, you can allow me to purchase them for you, to save time and money on shipping. I can source models from several places; you will never pay MSRP for models I buy for you.
All payments for work are made through Paypal, and I require a deposit before work can begin. Deposit amount will vary from project to project, but as a general rule I require 1/2 of the final price. In addition, I require either the models themselves or the cost of models I purchase for you before I can begin work.
I aim to keep all customers completely in the loop as a project progresses. I will send you progress pictures and update you regularly as I work. At the end of a project, I can send you the “recipe” I used for your project, so you can continue on your own down the road.
